With the increasing loss of jobs, access to health care has become a hassle and a lot of Americans are unable to find affordable health care. As long as health is a privilege in this country and not a right, is the welfare of Americans subject to health disparities than before. The U. S. Department of Health Healthy People 2010 has set the improvement of the main health indicators in the country, is dedicated to the initiative of promoting the principle that, regardless of age, sex, race or ethnicity, income and social status, every access the same application and should have all the facilities of the country.

Unfortunately, according to The Wall Street Journal, the absence of more than 46 million Americans have adequate health insurance and the numbers are higher than ever. If the first indicator for Healthy People 2010 to improve access to health services, for this is that most Americans still can not access to care? Insurance prices are rising is, Medicaid and Medicare system more and more a story of Shaggy Dog, the insurance company. Elderly people who can not be assured, and too little has been done to facilitate access to health insurance for the elderly. The older ones are rejected for health insurance from the government and it is unacceptable that a man strives to have 65 years or women in this country health insurance. Where is the right for our elderly and usually secondary to take care of our children? Medicaid rates are deducted from our salary, but if we go into retirement, there is Medicaid for our generation. If our goal is to eliminate health disparities, we need to get people the care of conditions that are currently without a waiting period of one year prior to treatment. I think everyone has the right to treatment, I believe that the provision of health services for the uninsured, we are as a nation on the road to eliminating health disparities. Our mission is to provide quality health care for people without access to insurance as appropriate. Our goal should be to alleviate health disparities by the poor and for all.

A powerful country like the United States of America must be the priority of health. We have great technology, great doctors, but a system of ill health. In Europe, health is a right for European citizens. The government covers health services, no age requirements, no restrictions, no waiting and no provision of pre-existing condition. The insurance premium is taken from the paycheck of every person on an annual basis. This sum is applied to the cost of medical services. Health is not a privilege but a right. Who is employed or unemployed, must have the proper insurance coverage. Health should not be a political issue, but a fundamental right for all Americans. It ‘time for the government to study the reform of our health care insurance and offer health for all. Private insurance companies must be established for non-citizens and visitors. Our finding that Americans should have a better health for all and every danger. With the economy down, it is essential that people decide what is best for Americans, but not for the government. If the health plan that President Obama has proposed, as it should be spread, can be used on the road to universal health care, many do not want.

Needless to say, that health reform is of crucial importance for the health of Americans. The burden of the loss of jobs and lack of funding will bring more diseases than ever before.
